 At the pirate drake dive camp you can Learn to scuba diving, enjoy the beauty of the ocean in  a catamaran, practice snorkeling, visit the bigest national park of Costa Rica and the Wildlife Refuge Isla del Caño, meet new friends from around the world, all in the beautiful tropical setting of Bahia Drake, Costa Rica.  A learning vacation at Pirata Drake dive camp is the opportunity to Vacation with a Passion! ​

We offer 8 accommodations, accessible by exterior corridors. Rooms have a balcony or patio. Bathrooms include a shower and free toiletries. Free Wi-Fi internet access. Rooms also include ceiling fans air conditioner and blackout curtains. Daily cleaning service. 

We are located 1.2 mi from the center of Drake and only 3 minutes away from the beach and a great sunset lookout point of the bay. Our hotel has a smoking area and a beautiful garden and we offer a bicycle service for clients need to go to the center of Drake Bay.

There is a restaurant with a extensive menu operating in the lodge location. 

The start of the tour is at 7:00 am from Drake Bay. The ride with the catamaran is about 1 hour and we might see whales or dolphins on the way (depending on the season).
You will have two dives for 45 minutes at 2 different of 5 authorized points
including the Cave, Arch, and Devil's Rock at Caño Island.

You may see sea turtles, giant manta rays, sharks, and for sure many different kinds of other fishes. In between we take a little rest at the beach of Caño Island. The rest of the time you can relax on the catamaran, use the paddle board, jump into the water or use the waterslide.

The coral reefs and marine life around the island invite for scuba diving and
snorkeling. On the island, which is densely populated with tropical rainforest, we
take a break at the main beach where the ranger station is located.

You have the possibility to see many different kinds of fish, turtles and maybe a shark. In between we take a little rest at the beach of Caño Island. The rest of the time you can relax in one of the nets on the catamaran, use the paddle boards,
use the jumping platforms,  or use the waterslide. Picnic lunch buffet and open bar on board. Around 2:00 pm we return to Drake Bay.
