Corcovado National Park – San Pedrillo Station Overnight​

Discover the rich flora and fauna of San Pedrillo Station, the closest Corcovado National Park ranger station to Drake Bay. The only station with waterfalls and swimming holes, it offers chances to see sloths, monkeys, tapirs, pumas, and more.

Enjoy a two-day adventure through primary and secondary forests, with meals and accommodation included!

What to Expect:
​

Day 1: Start at 6:00 am with a 30-minute boat ride to San Pedrillo. Hike 3.5 hours through the secondary forest, spotting wildlife like monkeys, peccaries, and anteaters. After lunch, hike the primary forest, ending at a waterfall for swimming. Later, transfer to accommodations at the park’s edge, enjoy dinner, and take a night walk to spot frogs, snakes, and nocturnal animals.

Day 2: Begin at 5:30 am with an optional birdwatching tour, followed by breakfast. Hike back into Corcovado’s primary forest for another 3.5-hour adventure, ending with lunch and a swim at the waterfall. Return to Drake Bay by boat, arriving around 1:00 pm.
