Wildlife spotting and swimming by a waterfall.
What to Expect:
The tour begins at 6:00 am with a speedboat ride from Uvita to Drake Bay, taking approximately 1 hour. From there, a 30-minute boat ride brings us to San Pedrillo Station. The first hike takes you through the secondary forest, offering opportunities to spot wildlife such as monkeys, peccaries, anteaters, coatis, and potentially a puma or tapir.
After a break and lunch at the ranger station, the second hike ventures into the primary forest to discover ancient trees and learn about the rich flora and fauna of this untouched environment. The hike concludes at a serene waterfall with natural swimming holes, perfect for unwinding in nature.
We’ll return to Drake Bay by boat, arriving around 2:00 pm. While waiting for the 3:00 pm speedboat back to Uvita, you can explore Drake Bay or relax at the Pirate Drake Beach Bar. The tour concludes with your arrival in Uvita at Marino Ballena National Park.
